Blue & Gold Days - Admissions | University of Pittsburgh
BLUE & GOLD DAYS

Program Details
Our “open-house” format encourages rising seniors to gather info from multiple programs and ask our expert faculty questions to help decide which Pitt school to select when applying to Pitt. You’ll be able to hear from the first-year schools below (and more!)

Blue & Gold Days Visit Information

Let us show you around on a guided tour led by Pitt Pathfinders, our student exploration guides. From cutting-edge facilities to the city’s diverse and storied past, Pitt is full of inspiration and innovation, and our current Pitt students can’t wait to meet you to tell you about it. From fun facts and valuable insights to stories about student life, don’t miss your opportunity to get your questions answered and hear why our students chose to call Pitt their new home away from home.

Have any questions about the application process? No worries! Admissions Counselors will also be available to answer your questions and provide helpful resources.

All events begin the day at 8:30 am with a Welcome to Pitt and an introduction to the day’s activities followed by a sneak peek into the admissions process and flexible first-year entry schools open house programs. Then join our Pathfinders, current Pitt students, for a campus tour. The last tour starts at 12:15 PM.

The last activity will end by 1:30 pm – and you’ll be able to fill your day with unique events that you can pick and choose what you want to do when you arrive.

*When you visit, you will likely hear the phrase “Hail to Pitt!”

We love to see the memories you make on campus during your Blue & Gold Day experience! Hashtag your photos with #H2P or tag us @PittAdmissions to share them with us on Instagram!

“Hail to Pitt” (#H2P) references our beloved fight song—and so much more. It’s also an expression of immense affection and pride for how one of the world’s best research universities puts so much within reach and in so many ways that feel truly individualized. Join us for one of our Blue & Gold Days and find out why Pitt students wear our school colors and say H2P with pride.
