INTERNSHIPS
The Value in Internships
Accessibility to a variety of internship opportunities is one of the many benefits available to Pitt students. By completing an internship or participating in our Internship Prep Program (previously Guaranteed Internship program), students can graduate with experience in the field of their choosing. Internships are available to students in all majors and are offered for monetary value or elective credits. Students who wish to intern for credit can discuss their options with their academic advisor.
Build your Professional Network
Internships are a fantastic way to begin building your professional network. Interning can connect you with industry professionals on a personal level.
Build your Resume
Graduating with prior experience through an internship can set you up for long-term success. On average, Pitt students complete 2-3 internships throughout their college career.

Pitt students have landed internships at places like the Andy Warhol Museum, the Pittsburgh Penguins, U.S. Steel, and Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic.

Pitt Global Experiences Office offers an International Internship Program where students can gain professional experience and travel to exciting new places!
