Industrial Application Engineer
Amber held co-op positions with Eaton three times while she was a student at Pitt. She entered the company’s leadership development program following graduation. Now she operates a 55,000 sq. ft. Experience Center with interactive environments containing innovative power solutions for various industries and global markets. She sees 10,000 people a year – key stakeholders and customers – and hosts live application trainings and educational demonstrations utilizing Eaton’s latest solutions.

Nurse Practitioner
While studying at Pitt, Alanna had the opportunity to explore a wide range of clinical experiences that built her confidence as a nurse and helped her find her interest—pediatrics. Now Alanna sees 20-30 kids a day and loves to lead kids toward wellness and provide parents with some peace of mind.

Founder: Eco-Soap Bank
Samir was on an internship abroad in Cambodia when he saw a mother bathing her child with laundry powder. Back in his hotel, he saw his barely-used bar of hotel soap and was struck with a plan—sanitize and recycle hotel soap and deliver it to rural communities in the developing world. He founded Eco-Soap Bank (ecosoapbank.org), which has now served 1.1 million+ people and earned him recognition as a 2017 CNN Hero.

PR Communications Manager
Jacque told her mom that she chose Pitt because she wanted to “go to a school that ESPN is going to cover.” As a Pitt student, she held internships with Pitt Athletics, Fox Sports Network, and the Pittsburgh Pirates. She leveraged that experience to land a job at the NFL. Now she’s at DICK’S Sporting Goods leading press efforts for the Company’s marketing initiatives, such as its annual Holiday campaign, key brands like CALIA by Carrie Underwood and celebrity partnerships.
