My friend was offered a scholarship and I wasn’t yet – does that mean I won’t get one?

Review for scholarships is rolling. The Scholarship Committee meets weekly from October-February and sends out decisions weekly. It is not uncommon for a student to be reviewed by the committee several times before an offer is made, so don’t worry if you don’t hear back right away! It is not uncommon for you to hear later than others who applied before you. The length of time it takes to hear back from us is not a predictor of what the outcome will be. We work hard in our office to give everyone a fair and efficient review. We thank you for your patience as we review your application and we wish you luck! Those who are selected for scholarships will hear from us by March 1 at the latest.
